PROGRAM ASSESSMENTThe Linguistics Program is small enough that statistical methods of assessment are fairly useless. The Program has therefore traditionally undertaken to closely monitor the progress of its graduate students, to mentor them in preparation for employment, and to follow them as well as possible after graduation. Individual input, both from current and former students and from faculty, has provided the basis for most program improvements.
