Internal and external evaluation techniques are utilized to measure the educational
and program goals in Sport and Entertainment Management. Graduates are requested to
complete a survey addressing communication, computer usage, math abilities, business
emphasis in the curriculum and rating the internship requirement. Data are gathered
for the department, college and university. The survey has a scale of 4-excellent,
3-good, 2-fair, and 1-poor and a space for not applicable.
An independent supervisor evaluates students in SPTE 495 - Internship in Sport
and Entertainment. The evaluation is confidential between the internship supervisor
and the Chair of the department.
