New Faculty Bring New Expertise to the Department

We are always excited to have new faculty join the department, as new faculty bring new expertise and ideas that enrich our biological research and teaching. Drs. Melissa Ellerman, Tad Dallas, and Eric LoPresti had the challenge of joining the department during the COVID-19 pandemic, but they have launched exciting research projects despite the pandemic related difficulties.

Greetings from the Chair

Happy spring from all of us in Biological Sciences! We are approaching the end of the semester -- the time when undergraduates start to receive news about summer jobs or internships, graduate students schedule defenses in time for August graduation, and faculty are wrapping up their courses for the academic year. In the department, spring also is a time of faculty hiring.
