The University of South Carolina is the only school in the state that offers an MFA in theatre, the highest degree possible in the fields of design and performance. Our annual season of Theatre South Carolina productions, which are an extension of classroom teaching, are public performances that will surprise and delight those who love classic and contemporary theatre.
The Department of Theatre and Dance offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in theatre. Earn your bachelor of arts or master of arts, master of arts in teaching theatre or master of fine arts in five unique concentrations including acting, costume design and technology, lighting

Audition for one of our upcoming Theatre South Carolina productions. Any University
of South Carolina student is invited to audition for a show, regardless of your major,
and non-student roles also may be available for some productions as well.
